About
Baas Hill Common has a long history dating back to the 13th century and has a mosaic of habitats including grassland, woodland, wildflower meadow and a small brook. Our designs for signage and interpretation around the common were intended to reflect this rich heritage and landscape, using traditional joinery techniques and detailing that hail from a bygone era.
Our design team created engaging interpretation panels highlighting the diverse natural history to be found throughout the Common and bringing to life its fascinating past. Orientation panels welcome visitors and include a colourful map to identify circular walks and places of interest.
Our approach
The scheme included a mix of badging signs, welcome signs and interpretive lecterns, all uniquely designed to reflect the character of Baas Hill Common. Signs were constructed from Oak and stainless steel and featured n-viro™ printed panels for maximum vandal resistance and lightfastness.
