Frequently Asked Questions

Do you offer signage, interpretation and wayfinding design services?

Yes. Our in-house design team supports signage and wayfinding consultancy, interpretation design, illustration, mapping, theme development, storyline creation and copywriting. We can work from your existing brief or help shape the project from an early stage.

For more information about our design services, please see the relevant service pages on our website. Link to Services page

Yes. We can support projects from the planning stage as well as the sign manufacture stage. This can include developing a wayfinding strategy, considering routes and decision points, and recommending the most suitable sign types and information points for the site.

This joined-up approach helps create clearer visitor journeys rather than treating each sign as an isolated item.

Yes. Our signs come with a 1-year manufacturer’s warranty, and some product elements may carry longer product-specific performance guarantees. For example, our n-Viro printed panels include a 10 year lightfastness guarantee.

If you are comparing products for a particular environment, we are happy to explain the warranty position and the expected maintenance requirements for the specification you are considering.

Service life varies by material and by how the sign is used, installed and maintained. Stainless steel is highly durable and very long lasting. Oak is a Class 2 hardwood with a typical service life of around 15 to 25 years, but it does require regular maintenance to keep it in good condition. Recycled plastic is very low maintenance, does not rot and is resistant to insect infestation.

If you are choosing between materials, we recommend looking at whole-life performance rather than purchase price alone. Maintenance guidance for timber products is available in our download area.

Most products are supplied with assembly information, but the final installation method should always reflect the site conditions and the ground type. Recommended in-ground depths and related technical information are available in our downloads area.

If you would like us to manage installation, we can also provide site surveys and installation support as part of the project.

Most of our products are made to order rather than supplied as finished stock items. We do hold many standard components, which helps us maintain competitive lead times, but most projects still require finishing work such as powder coating, printing, assembly or bespoke fabrication.

This made-to-order approach allows us to tailor signs more closely to your specification.
