We were delighted to be working with our friends at Hotrod Creations in developing a unique park signage scheme for Staunton Country Park in Hampshire. Commissioned by Hampshire County Council, this exciting project draws inspiration from the history and heritage of the Regency landscaped parkland and the people who once lived and worked here.
Hotrod were keen to work within the parameters of a tried and tested signage system to ensure durability, but with the ability to add bespoke features unique to the project. Interpretation and orientation displays were developed from our Richmond range with embellishments to create a Victorian feel.
Our approach
Bespoke finials displayed icons appropriate to the era and features of the park, finished in brand colours. Display frames housed full colour HPL prints which included QR codes and NFC chips embedded within the artwork, giving visitors access to digital layers of interpretation through their mobile devices.
Stainless steel fingerposts were also positioned throughout the park to aid navigation, each with multi directional cast aluminium fingerarms. We provided a full service in completing this project, from print to manufacture and installation.
