Fitzpatrick Woolmer announces Royal Warrant appointment

We’re incredibly proud to share some truly special news. Fitzpatrick Woolmer has been granted a Royal Warrant as Manufacturer of Signs and Wayfinding.

This is an extraordinary milestone for our business and one that means a great deal to everyone here. Even more so because this year, only 36 non-Warrant-holding companies have been granted a Royal Warrant, placing us among a very small group of businesses recognised for their consistent excellence, trust and service at the highest level.

As a leading British heritage and outdoor signage company for over 30 years, we’ve always believed that what we do goes far beyond signage itself. We design and manufacture interpretation and wayfinding that helps shape experience – connecting people to place and bringing stories to life in ways that feel meaningful, intuitive and lasting.

To be recognised in this way feels like a reflection of that journey. Not just the work we deliver today, but the consistency, care and craftsmanship that has defined us for 30 years. It also reflects the trust our clients place in us and the pride our team takes in every single project that leaves our workshop.

Sustainability remains central to how we work. We continue to prioritise sustainably sourced materials wherever possible, shaped by time-served craftspeople who take genuine pride in their work. That commitment sits alongside our belief in being an exceptional creative partner – one that helps clients engage and inspire visitors in ways that are both impactful and responsible.

Ultimately, our signage is about more than direction or information. It helps our partners better engage and inspire their visitors, enhancing experiences and delivering physical, ethical and emotional value – not only to the people who use it, but to the environments it sits within.

Mark Woolmer, Managing Director, said: “Receiving a Royal Warrant is an incredible honour for our business. To be one of only 36 non-Warrant-holding companies recognised this year makes it even more meaningful. It acknowledges not just the quality of our work today, but the journey we’ve been on over the last 30 years. Above all, it’s a tribute to our team – their skill, passion and commitment to doing things properly. We’re proud of where we’ve come from and even more excited about where we’re going next.”

For us, this moment is both a celebration and a reminder – of the standards we hold ourselves to, the people we work with and the responsibility that comes with recognition like this. It’s a proud moment in our story, but very much part of a much bigger journey still unfolding.

We’re incredibly proud to receive this honour, and even more proud to continue doing what we do best: creating signage that helps places tell their stories in the most meaningful way possible.
